Mr Tammareddy Bharadhwaja, verteran producer, has been elected President of the Andhra Pradesh Film Chamber of Commerce for 2012-13.
He defeated his rival, Mr Sravanti Ravikishore, who represented big producers. In the elections held on Sunday, all but one candidate in the Mr Bharadwaja’s panel defeated the Opposition candidates with comfortable margins.
Mr Bharadwaja said he would support the cause of small producers and distributors, who are being pushed to the wall by the big and powerful producers in the film industry.
Mr Natti Kumar and Mr C. Bharat Chowdhary have been elected as the Chairmen of APFCC’s Producers Distributors’ Sectors, respectively.
