Next education Pvt Ltd, an e-learning technology company, has won the K-12 (Public Choice) award in the category ‘Interactive Solution Provider’ at the recent eIndia conference 2012. The company won the award for its product, MathsLab. Veena Raizada, Director of Academics, received the award from Ponnala Lakshmaiah, Minister for IT & Communications, Andhra Pradesh. MathsLab is a hands-on learning solution designed to explain complex mathematical concepts by using simulated and audio-visual explanations. It helps develop higher order thinking skills in children. eIndia is an annual event. It is a platform for knowledge sharing in different domains of ICT for development and facilitates multi-stakeholder partnerships and networking among Governments, industry, academia and civil society organisations of different countries, including the host country- India.
