Assam Chief Minister Tarun Gogoi today discussed about child and mother healthcare with Unicef India Representative Louis Georges Arsenault here.
They discussed about child health, healthcare of mother and child and other measures for their welfare.
Gogoi laid emphasis on nutritious food for the well being of both mother and child, suitable healthcare measures, pure drinking water and child education.
He also assured that government support would continue towards Unicef’s maternal and child health welfare measures.
Arsenault was appreciative of the present state government’s steps taken for welfare of both mother and child.
