The Karnataka State Road Transport Corporation (KSRTC) will begin services of air-conditioned Volvo buses from Mangalore to the two important temple towns in Dakshina Kannada district. A press statement said here that KSRTC will begin the services of these air-conditioned Volvo buses to Dharmasthala and Subrahmanya from Mangalore with effect from October 10. A passenger will have to pay Rs 90 from Mangalore to Dharmasthala, and Rs 120 from Mangalore to Subrahmanya to travel in these buses. The road transport corporation has taken a decision to operate Volvo buses to these two centres following the demands from pilgrims in this regard, it said.
