Lok Sabha Speaker Sumitra Mahajan will lead an Indian Parliamentary Delegation to New Zealand from September 17-22.
During the visit, the delegation will call on the Speaker of the Parliament of New Zealand David Carter and also have meetings with the Members of the New Zealand-India Parliamentary Friendship Group at Wellington.
At Auckland, the delegation will also meet Indian Community hosted by New Zealand Indian Central Association (NZICA), an official release said. NZICA was formed in 1926, making it the oldest established Indian organisation in New Zealand.
The delegation includes Prem Chand Gupta; Prem Singh Chandumajra; Deepender Singh Hooda; C.R. Patil; Darshana Vikram Jardosh; Padmakar Alias Anil Gulabrao Shirole; Ranvijay Singh Judev; and Vivek K. Tankha, Members of Parliament. Anoop Mishra, Secretary-General, Lok Sabha. Cyril John, Joint Secretary, Lok Sabha Secretariat is the Secretary to the Delegation.
