Innovative entrepreneurship can help students think differently and aid them in starting their own business ventures and thus create jobs, said Chintan Bakshi, Chief Operating Officer, Startup Oasis.
Bakshi was speaking at a BL Club lecture on ‘Innovative Entrepreneurship’ at Marudhar Engineering College, Bikaner, Rajasthan. The campus interface with the corporate world was organised by Business Line in association with Cairn India, the fastest growing energy company in the world.
“Entrepreneurship helps solve unsolved problems and create unique value propositions for the customer, and start-ups help create business models which are repeatable and scalable,” he said.
Bakshi said that some well-known start-ups such as Red Bus, Flipkart, Naukri.com, Cardekho, and TaxiforSure have solved the problems of customers and created jobs and provided products or services at reasonable prices.
