Vanitha Mohan, vice-chairman of Pricol Ltd, is the first woman to be elected president of the Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, Coimbatore.
Elected unanimously at the 82nd annual general meeting of the industry body, Vanitha has served as vice-president of ICCIC for three terms.
She is also the managing trustee of Siruthuli, an NGO engaged in addressing the environmental concerns of Coimbatore with focus on water management and enhancement of green cover of the region
ResponsibilitiesAs vice-chairman of Pricol, she heads the corporate social responsibility and internal audit functions.
