Israeli hotel chain, The Dan Hotels, has opened its first luxury hotel outside of Israel in Bengaluru, at an investment of ₹490 crore, including the cost of land.

The Den, a 226-room hotel with 25 floors located on a 2.8-acre land parcel in the IT corridor of Whitefield, works around the concept of providing the modern traveller the best of everything.

“The Den is a new brand crafted for the modern traveller who knows what to expect from a luxury hotel. It is an Indian brand, built and managed by Indians, and is the first luxury hotel under Den Hotels India Pvt Ltd, an Indian company which has received 100 per cent investment from The Dan Hotels, Israel,” Vinesh Gupta, General Manager, The Den, told BusinessLine .

The hotel offers spacious rooms upwards of 360 sq ft in four categories starting from ₹10,000 up to ₹80,000 for its Paramount Suite; over 10,000 sq ft of indoor banqueting space equipped with the latest technology, in addition to alfresco dining and partying spaces on its lawns and around the water bodies dotting the hotel.

The construction of the hotel was by L&T and the project management by JLL.

Unique R&R offerings “Our offerings to relax and rejuvenate are unique. The Nest, our open bar on the lobby level, is located next to a gaming zone, which offers over 80 digital video games for one or two players, a separate XBox room for gaming enthusiasts, a snooker area, and The Cave, a 15-seater Cinema Theatre, where guests can watch movies of their choice along with food and beverages being served to them inside,” said Gupta.

Competition The Den will compete with hotels such as Vivanta by Taj, Marriott Hotel, Four Points by Sheraton and The Zuri that have already established a steady clientele in Whitefield.
