Delhi University's Faculty of Management Studies has recently completed its final placement process for the batch of 2015 with 217 students receiving a total of 236 offers. The average domestic salary for the batch stood at Rs 17.04 lakh this year, marginally up from last year's Rs 16.18 lakh.

The pre-placements offers (PPOs) have increased considerably from 38 in 2014 to 60 offers this year. About 42 PPOs were accepted by the students. 

Some of the top recruiters in the consulting domain include The Boston Consulting Group (3 offers), Accenture Strategy (11 offers) and Deloitte USI (10 offers). Capgemini, Cognizant Business Consulting, EY and KPMG also hired from the campus. Tata Administrative Services, Mahindra & Mahindra, Reliance Industries, Tata Communications offered general management roles. Median salary offered for the domain is Rs 17.60 lakh.

The B-School received five times more offers from e-commerce firms this year. Amazon, Snapdeal, Info Edge, MakeMyTrip, HCL and PayTM among others were among the top recruiters from the domain. 

More than 40 offers came from BFSI firms such as Avendus Capital, Citibank, Deutsche Bank, Goldman Sachs and HSBC. Corporate Finance roles were offered by Nestle and Vodafone. Median salary for the domain stood at Rs 16.40 lakh.

FMCG and consumer durable firms such as Asian Paints, Coca-Cola, Hindustan Unilever, Dell, HP, Lenovo and Samsung hired for sales and marketing profiles. The median salary for the domain is Rs 16.25 lakh.

Seven students have opted out of placements this year.
