France based international school of hospitality and hotel management, Vatel has joined hands with Ansal University, Gurgaon to offer a bachelor's degree programme in hospitality management.
Vatel schools are located over 31 locations across the globe, and follow the European management methodology for hospitality training.
"Vatel's strong academic network and diversity will offer Indian students at the Ansal University campus an international exposure, be it faculty expertise, applied industry-oriented curriculum, contemporary teaching pedagogy, student exchange and internship program with its campuses spread across five continents," said Laurent Guichoux, Academic Director of Vatel India while launching the programme.
The university plans to take in about 100 students for the first batch and the programme is offered at a fee of Rs 1.4 lakh each year. The students will also undergo a student exchange programme during the course for an international experience.
Apart from the student exchange the course will also conduct research and faculty exchange programmes.
