The Indian Institute of Management, Lucknow, recently conferred diplomas on its 658 students at its convocation ceremony.

A total of 409 students from the Post-Graduate Programme in Management, 42 students from the PGP in Agri-business Management, 12 students from the Doctoral programme along with 125 students from the PGP in Management for Working Executives and 70 students from International Programme in Management for Executives batches, received diplomas from the Noida campus. The  diplomas were awarded by the IIM-Lucknow Director Devi Singh and Deepak Parekh, Chairman, Housing Development Finance Corporation. Parekh was the Chief Guest and delivered the convocation address.

IIM-Lucknow witnessed an eventful academic year with three new international partner institutions taking the tally of international tie-ups to 32.

The institute has also started a new doctoral programme for working professionals — Executive Fellow Programme in Management (EFPM) this year, informed the Singh in a press statement. The first batch of EFPM has 20 students who are high-profile executives from the corporate world, including CFOs, CTOs and COOs.

The business school is improving its infrastructure continuously and was ranked 34th in a survey of 50 most beautiful campuses in the world last year. Apart from boosting the residential and classroom facilities, IIM-Lucknow has artificially created two water bodies for rain water harvesting.
