Gurgaon based Management Development Institute has recently concluded its summer placement process for the Class of 2016 placing a batch of 240 students from PGPM and 61 from PGP-HRM in less than 4 days.
A total of 109 companies participated in the process offering an average stipend of Rs 1.16 lakh for the PGPM students with highest stipend of Rs 4.2 lakh. The average stipend for PGP-HRM stood at Rs 1.07 lakh.
Some of the new summer recruiters at MDI this year include Boston Consulting Group, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, Danone, J&J Pharma, Marks and Spencer, Motorola, Novartis, and Snapdeal.
Summer internships are a mandatory requirement for the fulfilment of MBA curriculum at Indian business schools offering the two-year programme.
