SVKM's Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies (NMIMS), a deemed to be university under section 3, UGC Act, 1956, will be closing registration on April 30 for its entrance test NPAT for admission (session 2015-16 ) for its under graduate degree and 5 year Integrated degree programmes B.Tech, MBA (Tech), MBA (Pharma Tech.), BBA, B.Com.(Hons.), B.Sc.(Finance) and B.Sc.Economics.

These programmes will be offered under its various schools at Mumbai and Shirpur campuses. NMIMS is also introducing new programmes BBA-MMS and MBA Tech (Agriculture Technology) at its Mumbai and Shirpur Campus respectively from coming session, says a press release.

The test NMIMS NPAT will replace the previous NMAT-UG test and remain the only entrance test for undergraduate admissions at NMIMS. According to Rajan Saxena, Vice Chancellor of NMIMS, the new NPAT will test learning capabilities of candidate as also quantitative and numerical ability, reasoning and intelligence and proficiency in English language as per international standards.

The new program BBA-MMS under the Anil Surendra Modi School of Commerce at Mumbai campus, is a 5 Year Dual Degree Program. Students with CGPA of 3 and above, at the end of 2nd year of BBA, will be eligible for the MMS part of the Dual Degree Programme.

The five year MBA Tech (Agriculture Technology) programme will be a mix of different sub-domains like water conservation and irrigation engineering, mechanised farming, crop and plant science, food processing and technology management. The programme curriculum will have built in internships in India, as well as in Israel (optional) to allow the students to gain field exposure.
