Experts couldn’t emphasise enough the importance of ethics in business and XLRI Jamshedpur is set to do it, well, one more time.

The business school will hold its '22nd annual JRD Tata Oration on Business Ethics’ on December 7, 2013 at the campus.

This year the oration will be delivered by M. M. Pallam Raju, Union Minister of Human Resource Development. Raju Completed his MBA in 1986 from the US based Temple University, Philadelphia.

He has worked as a Research Assistant at Temple University, and was a Research Associate at a consulting firm - Federal Group in Boston.

First elected to the Indian Parliament in 1989 as the youngest member during the 9th Lok Sabha, Raju was re-elected to the 14th and 15th Lok Sabha in 2004 and 2009 respectively.

XLRI had established the JRD Tata Foundation in Business Ethics in 1991 by joining hands with some of the Tata Group Companies.

The foundation seeks to publicly affirm the urgent need for ethics in business and bring about a conducive culture in the organisations.
