German car brand Porsche has revealed that it will be launching two new variants of its Cayenne luxury SUV later this year.
The Cayenne and Cayenne S E-Hybrid will both get Platinum Editions which will feature a sporty exterior and other upgrades. Platinum Edition variants will be recognizable by their sporty appearance.
Upgrades include Bi-Xenon headlights with the Porsche Dynamic Light System (PDLS), Power Steering Plus, and front and rear ParkAssist. The latter not only uses an audible beep to indicate objects or other cars in front of and behind the vehicle; it also graphically depicts the surroundings on the display.
The Cayenne S E-Hybrid Platinum Edition model also comes with auxiliary cabin conditioning which allows the vehicle to pre-condition the cabin before the driver enters the vehicle.
The Cayenne S E-Hybrid’s 3.0 liter V6 supercharged engine and electric motor produces 416 bhp while the 3.6 litre V6 on Cayenne Platinum Edition model is capable of producing 300 bhp.
