After launching the new version of the Activa, Honda Motorcycle and Scooter India has now launched the 2017 edition of its other scooter, the Dio.
The sporty looking scooter, which Honda claims has sold over 17 lakh units, is now BS-IV compliant, keeping in line with the government norms that kick in from April. It is powered by the tried and tested Honda Eco Technology 109 cc engine.
The looks of the new Dio see some overhaul, with bigger graphics on the front and the side of the scooter and a new V-shaped front LED lamp. It also gets two new colours to choose from — Vibrant Orange and Pearl Sports Yellow. The other important added features include a mobile charging socket to power your devices on the go and the Automatic Headlamp On feature, both of which are also seen on the new Activa. The new Dio also gets the Combi Brake System, which will be mandatory for all two-wheelers up to 125 cc from April next year. The scooter is priced at ₹49,132 (ex-showroom, Delhi).
