Honda Cars has launched a new version of its entry-level hatchback Brio, with changes to the interiors and exteriors.
The Brio’s front grill gets a chromed, sporty feel, along with a new-look bumper. The rear of the car has been given a new tail lamp and a tailgate spoiler with an LED stop-lamp.
The interiors have got an overhaul, featuring a new instrument panel with silver accents and rectangular air vents. The instrument cluster features a triple analogue sporty-looking meter with white illumination. The infotainment system is a 2 DIN integrated Audio offering, with USB and Aux-in capability, and Bluetooth connectivity. It also comes equipped with hands-free telephony.
Under the hood, the Brio packs a 1.2-litre i-VTEC engine; with a maximum power of 88PS. Honda is offering the new Brio in both, automatic and manual variants. In safety features, the Brio comes with dual SRS airbags, ABS, EBD and seat belt pretensioner. The car’s front body structure also has the Pedestrian Injury Mitigation Technology to absorb impact.
The new Brio is available in five colours – Taffeta White, Alabaster Sliver, Urban Titanium, Rally Red and White Orchid Pearl, and starts at an ex-showroom (Delhi) price of around ₹4.7 lakh.
