Improved profitability on the back of a drop in egg prices appears to have improved earnings forecast for SKM Egg Products Ltd. Analysts said that the company is also looking to set up its own poultry farm with an attached feed mill, a move that will considerably reduce raw material costs. Earnings forecast by analysts tracking the company remain bullish in spite of the ambiguity over whether or not the company's export benefit would be extended by the Government. The stock hit the upper circuit on Friday, ending at Rs 22.05, up five per cent, with 12,178 shares traded on the BSE.
