Kottayam, Sept. 1:
Physical rubber prices ended flat on Saturday. There were no fresh factors to set a definite trend in the market and it continued to remain in a holiday mood amidst extremely dull volumes. RSS 4 improved marginally at its September series to Rs 171.88 (171.05), October to Rs 169 (167.53) and November to Rs 168.60 (167.77) a kg while the December series remained inactive on the National Multi Commodity Exchange.
Spot rates were (Rs/kg): RSS-4: 171 (171); RSS-5: 161 (161); ungraded: 155 (155); ISNR 20: 151 (151) and latex 60 per cent: 112.50 (112.50).
