Hyderabad, July 31

Nagarjuna Construction Company (NCCL) has registered a turnover of Rs 972 crore (standalone) for the first quarter ended June 2008 as against Rs 763 crore in the same quarter last year, showing a growth of 27 per cent. It achieved a net profit of Rs 37.09 crore as against Rs 36.03 crore in the corresponding quarter last year. The earnings per share (EPS) was Rs.1.62 (not annualised) as against Rs 1.73 in the corresponding quarter of the previous year.
