Hyundai Motor India has reported a 14 per cent growth in domestic market in September compared to the same month last year, according to a press release from the company.

It sold 16,415 vehicles during September in the domestic market.

Sales in the overseas markets grew by 7.5 per cent over September 2005 with sales of 10,077 units. Cumulative sales in September was 26,492 units showing an overall growth of 11.5 per cent over September 2005. The company sold 2,043 units of Verna in the first five days of launch in the last week of September, the release said.
