MANGALORE: The Dakshina Kannada Government Officers' Cooperative Bank Ltd recorded a profit of Rs 42.16 lakh during 2004-05. Addressing presspersons here on Wednesday, the Chairman of the bank, Mr K. Prakashchandra, said there has been an increase of Rs 2.29 lakh in the profit over the previous financial year. The total business of the bank stood at Rs 12.14 crore.

The board of directors of the bank has decided to disburse a dividend of 20 per cent to its members. The bank has 4,022 members. During 2004-05, the NPA of the bank stood at 8.85 per cent, he added.
