KOCHI: The State-owned Transformers and Electricals Kerala Ltd (TELK), Angamally, has bagged an order worth Rs 14 crore from Rajasthan Electricity Board. The order is for supply of four 100 MVA, 220/132 kv auto transformers.

TELK secured this order against stiff competition from leading manufacturers including MNCs. The Managing Director, Mr K.R.Vishwambharan, said that the company is in the process of a financial restructuring with infusion of funds from various sources, which would open a road for growth of the company. TELK has an order book of Rs 104 crore, which includes export order worth Rs17 crore, he said.

TELK is making profit for the last few years and this year also, the company is targeting higher turnover and profit, he added.
