Hyderabad, July 13 The Centre for IT and the Networked Economy (CITNE) at the Indian School of Business (ISB) here, and the School of Information Systems (SIS) at the Singapore Management University (SMU), entered into a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for collaborative research in Information Systems (IS).

To be in force for an initial period of three years starting July 1, 2007, the agreement would facilitate development of new thinking and practices in areas such as business intelligence and analytics, e-market design for emerging economies, the economics of software licensing and software as a service, among others.

“The ISB is committed to generating leading-edge research that addresses the specific challenges in high potential emerging markets such as South Asia. SMU and ISB share this commitment to contribute actively to Asian businesses,” Mr M. Rammohan Rao, Dean, ISB, said in a release.
