Water levels at three major reservoirs in the State - Idukki, Idamalayar and Kallada - have recorded a slight decline when compared to the levels recorded during the preceding week.

According to figures released by the Central Water Commission, the level declined from 2385.24 ft to 2382.88 ft at Idukki; 523.46 ft to 522.51 ft at Idamalayar and 375.98 ft to 373.69 ft at Kallada. However, year-on-year comparisons revealed that Idukki had recorded an increase of 27.40 ft, Idamalayar 29.20 ft and Kallada 10.07 ft.
