The Chartered Institute of Management Accountants, UK (CIMA) has entered into a strategic alliance with Dun & Bradstreet Information Services India Pvt Ltd to conduct courses relating to the CIMA Certificate in Business Accounting (CBA).

Under the alliance, D&B will offer tuitions for the CBA course and be accredited as a CIMA assessment centre.

The various modules in this course are business economics, financial accounting, ethics, corporate governance and business law. D&B will offer this qualification through its strategic business unit, D&B Financial Education Solutions. The agreement was signed between Mr Robert Jelly, Director-Education, CIMA, and Dr Manoj Vaish, President & CEO, D&B India.

Apart from offering tuition for the course on behalf of CIMA, D&B will also provide faculty and assessment venues for students in India. The two companies will cooperate to deliver financial education and training, offer development programmes and organise joint seminars and events on a variety of themes related to business management and finance. Mr Jelly said CIMA is in the process of signing MoUs with a few B-schools in Mumbai, Delhi, Hyderabad and Chennai.
