The President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Mr Emomali Sharifovich Rahmonov, has expressed hope that in the near future his country will have the association of Bharat Heavy Electricals Lt (BHEL) for high power generation equipment for the hydroelectric stations.

The Tajikistan President, along with a high level delegation of officials, visited the important manufacturing facilities of BHEL, Ramachandrapuram. Gas turbines, steam turbines and compressors manufacturing shop caught the interest of Mr Rahmonov and team, according to a press release.

The Executive Director of the public sector BHEL, Ramachandrapuram, Mr C.P. Singh, made a presentation about the activities of the Corporation, its track record and the technical capabilities it can offer for possible collaborations and execution of turnkey projects.
