The Chief Judge, City Civil Court, Kolkata, today directed the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) to postpone its disciplinary committee meeting scheduled to be held on August 15at Delhi, at which Mr Jagmohan Dalmiya has been asked to be present. The court passed the order on a petition of Mr Dalmiya, seeking injunction restraining the BCCI, from asking him to remain present at the meeting. The court restrained BCCI, directing it not to hold the meeting till the disposal of the application filed by Mr Dalmiya. The matter has been fixed for hearing before the court on August 22. BCCI will now file an appeal against the order of the City Court, possibly before August 15.
