New Delhi, April 19 All villages in Gujarat will be connected through broadband in the next two months, the Chief Minister of Gujarat, Mr Narendra Modi, said here on Saturday.

Gujarat is also building a nano-city and the Gujarat International Financial Tax City (GIFT) at Gandhinagar.

Inaugurating the ASSOCHAM-organised Gujarat Summit here, Mr Modi said that the 100-storied nano city would have ultra modern facilities from human resources development to process houses for which the construction could shortly commence.

Likewise, the proposed GIFT would be built by a company that created Shanghai in China, for which necessary formalities are being completed, announced the Chief Minister. Mr Modi declined to give further details for the proposed nano city and GIFT. He said that since Gujarat has become the number one IT power in the entire Asia, it is committed to providing broadband facilities to all its villages within the next 65 days.
