Crushing through the stack of monolithic storage offerings, Hitachi Data Systems, a wholly owned subsidiary of Hitachi Ltd, has reinforced its TagmaStore Universal Storage Platform. This includes a 25 per cent boost to overall system performance, delivering 2.5 million input-output operations per second of power. So, with the new platform, critical applications such as Oracle Financials and Microsoft SQL Server will scream at peak velocity, according to the company.
