CSS Software India, the IT services subsidiary of US-based Cybernet Software Systems (CSS), has opened office in Hyderabad and plans to target the ERP (enterprise resource planning) market in Andhra Pradesh.

The company plans to hire over 500 professionals, specifically in the areas of ERP, .Net and Java space over the next 12 months for its India IT services business that will take its headcount to over 650 from the current 150 employees.

CSS Software India offers software development, testing and infrastructure management and now plans to target the manufacturing and engineering companies in the small and medium enterprise segment, helping them to transition from legacy system to ERP. The CSS Group employs 4,500 people globally and is targeting it to be 6,000 this year, a company release stated.
