ESPN Software is hoping to get strong advertising support for its Premier Hockey League (PHL). The channel is planning to make it more viewer-friendly by introducing new concepts such as a third umpire, mikes for on-field referees and improving overall production quality. "Our world class production crew, with some of the finest equipment flown in from our Singapore offices, where we have a state-of-the-art production centre, will ensure that PHL telecast is among the best in the world," said Mr R.C. Venkateish, Managing Director, ESPN.
