New Delhi, July 18

Oriental Bank of Commerce (OBC) has paid a dividend of Rs 57.60 crore, for the financial year 2005-06, to the Central Government. The dividend cheque was handed over by the Chairman and Managing Director of OBC, Mr K.N. Prithviraj, to the Union Finance Minister, Mr P. Chidambaram, here on Tuesday. For the financial year 2005-06, OBC had declared a dividend of 45 per cent. OBC's paid-up capital as on March 31 stood at Rs 250.54 crore.
