Dena Bank and Union Bank of India have tied up with Small Farmers' Agri-business Consortium (SFAC) to facilitate growth of agri business. Under the arrangement, SFAC will provide venture capital assistance and project development facility to assist producer groups or entrepreneurs in setting up economically viable agri-business projects with the participation of the banks.

The banks in turn will get exposure to large number of agri-entrepreneurs and will also help promotion of such business. The SFAC is a registered society under the Department of Agriculture and Co-operation.
