Chennai-based Golden Homes has launched an 8-acre residential project, Golden Opulence, to the west of Chennai near Poonamallee.

The project on the Chennai-Bangalore highway offers over 815 apartments ranging from 690 to 2,067 sq.ft. The base price is pegged at Rs 3,895 a sq. ft. The apartments will be distributed across seven towers of 16-17 floors each.

The project is to be launched next week and is ideally located to reach the major industrial hubs to the west and south of Chennai, according to J.R. Balasingh George, Managing Director, Golden Homes. Poonamallee is one of the fast growing suburbs as it is well connected to Ambattur, Sriperumbudur, Oragadam and GST Road, he said.

Golden Homes is the 125 {+t} {+h} project for the 25-year-old company.

The project will offer modern amenities including a club house.

The company has significant land bank in the western parts of Chennai.

Its next major project is to come up at Chembarambakkam with 2,600 apartments, he said.

Golden Opulence is competitively priced compared with any other projects in this segment in Poonamallee, he said.
