The Fairwood Group company, ULTraFairwood has announced the signing of a contract to build the world’s largest PRT/GRT project in Ajman City, UAE. The capex value of the core project will be US$ 881 million, and the system cost, supplied by ULTraFairwood, will be US$ 723 million (~INR 4,700 crs.).
USPs: - It will be the largest autonomous electric vehicle transport system in the world.
- It will be a city wide integrated transportation system, a combination of PRT (Personal Rapid Transit) & GRT (Group Rapid Transit).
- The vehicles will be produced in India, for the world market. This will be the world’s largest autonomous vehicle production facility. “Make in India” – for the world.
- ULTra Fairwood is owned by Fairwood Holdings, India, which will become one of the few Indian owned global leaders in technology.
