Two Indian campaigns won Grands Prix at the Cannes Festival of Creativity last week.

TBWA India’s Blink To Speak initiative won the Health Grand Prix for Good, while ITC’s Savlon bagged the coveted prize for Creative Effectiveness.

Blink to Speak is an ‘eye language’ created by TBWA/India to help paralysed people communicate. The effort was taken up for the NeuroGen Brain & Spine Institute and the non-profit Asha Ek Hope Foundation.

Designed and conceptualised by Ogilvy India, the Savlon campaign encourages behavioural change towards washing hands amongst children through various educational initiatives.

Savlon’s Healthy Hands Chalk Sticks won global honours at Cannes in 2017. Cleansers were infused into the chalk the children wrote on slates with, and which they could also use to wash their hands before they ate.
