Kent RO Systems has introduced Kent UF Tap Water Purifier. It is based on the twin purification technology of high-grade granular activated carbon, a de-chlorination agent which removes chlorine and odour from tap water and is further equipped with an advanced multi-layered hollow fibre UF membrane filter to remove rust, bacteria, cyst, coliform bacilli, microorganisms and microscopic impurities from water. It is best suited for washbasins and kitchen sinks. This small purifier is priced Rs 2,300 and is available at all major retail and home appliances stores.

Kingtech Electronics of Hong Kong has launched a dual SIM projector mobile phone called G5 under the G'Five brand. Just a long press of the OK button takes the user to projection mode to view office documents with a focus that can be adjusted. The video quality is claimes to be good from a distance of 5-6 feet. It is priced Rs 7,499. Other features include dual standby, 6 cm (2.4-inch) TFT display, 2.0 MP camera, voice and video recorders and player, e-book reader and other features such as MSN, Facebook, Yahoo, Twitter and Games.

Cata Appliances has launched Cantee Koffee King in a tie-up with Cantee Electrodomestico S.L. of Spain. It can be used to make both South Indian filter coffee as well as international blends. The distinguishing features include high bar pressure for extra froth, rich taste and thick coffee, swing-out and removable filter basket and an anti-drip feature. The price is Rs 1,690.

Titan's Zoop brand of children's watches has launched a new collection called Robots & Fairies, inspired by popular robots and sci-fi gadgets. The Fairies collection is for girls, designed in bright colours. Every watch is designed to build time-reading skills. The hour hand is the same colour as the hour marking while the minute hand is matched to the minute markings on the dial. They are priced between Rs 550 and Rs 600 each.

TTK Prestige has launched the ‘Indian tea maker'. It claims to have an innovative facility for brewing, unlike the traditional kettles. One has to just boil the water and the tea leaves, milk and sugar and switch on the brew mode for Indian-style tea. The product is priced at Rs 2,495.
