A press release by the Company said that a team of experts formed at the instance of National Green Tribunal which inspected the project early this month has stated that there would be no submergence of any villages at 154 meters level.

A report by Khargone Collector filed after surveying the area in the Narmada valley had also ruled out submergence of land after filling of the reservoir up to 154 metres, it said.

The Centre had allowed the Company to fill the reservoir up to 154 meters in May this year.
