Arihant Industrial Corporation Ltd (AICL), a Rs 50 crore-plus company that manufactures playground and water sliding equipment, has launched a play range called ‘Illumine Play System'.
Solar-powered panels embedded in the play structure will light up automatically with fading sunlight, allowing kids to play in the night. AICL has filed for a patent for the range.
The normal play equipment range from AICL costs between Rs 5 lakh and Rs 25 lakh. The cost of the Illumine range will go up depending on the number of canopies needed to illuminate each structure.
The smallest equipment will require two such canopies, informed a company official, with each canopy costing Rs 50,000-75,000.
