Asian Paints has posted a 23 per cent rise in net profit at ₹339 crore (₹275 crore) for the first quarter ended June 30. Income from operations rose 18 per cent to ₹3,362 crore from ₹2,841 crore. KBS Anand, Managing Director and CEO, said the decorative business registered double-digit growth during the quarter.
