Global broadcaster BBC World News will start from next month a new series Horizons that will focus on ideas that could have a major impact on businesses in the future.
The series, which would have 20 episodes, would start from May 6.
“(We would focus) on big things that would change the world in the next ten years... Politically and economically, there is a sense of change,” Horizon’s presenter Mr Adam Shaw told PTI.
A panel of global experts are involved, mainly in finding ideas for the series, he added.
Sponsored by chemicals major DuPont, the series would explore business areas and ideas in different countries that could shape the future.
“The series will examine issues and areas such as clean energy, rising sea levels, diminishing resources, health, communication, transport and construction,” BBC World News said.
The programme would cover many countries, including Kenya, India, the UK, Germany and the Netherlands.
