Bank of Baroda (Kenya) Ltd, a subsidiary of Bank of Baroda, has opened its branch in Meru, Kenya.
With the opening of this branch, BoB (Kenya) now has 11 branches in Kenya.
This is also the 103rd overseas branch/office of Bank of Baroda. These 103 offices comprise 60 overseas branches of BoB, 42 branches of its overseas subsidiaries and one representative office.
The public sector bank’s overseas business operations extends across 24 countries.
During FY14, the Bank’s Overseas Business contributed 32.6 per cent to its total business and 24.2 per cent to Gross Profit.
BoB has plans to enter new countries offering opportunities for profitable growth of business. Necessary infrastructure is being created for further expanding the network in UAE, UK, Kenya, Tanzania and Ghana.
