Bharat Electronics on Friday reported a 24 per cent decline in net profit to Rs 170.59 cr for the October-December quarter of 2010 as against Rs 223.87 cr posted during the same period of last fiscal.
The company’s total income increased to Rs 1,372.99 cr during the quarter under review compared with Rs 1,240.46 cr in the year-earlier.
Besides, Bharat Electronics has said that it has declared an interim dividend of 60 per cent on the paid up capital of the company (Rs 6 per share) for the year 2010-2011.
Shares of the company ended at Rs 1,689.55 on the BSE, down 1.34 per cent from its previous close.
