The World Cup cricket mania has also gripped India Inc, and over 150 top CEOs will cheer Team India in the Cricket World Cup semi-final match against Pakistan tomorrow, at a dinner laid out in sports ambience created in a five-star hotel here.

CEOs including Hero Honda's Mr Brijmohan Lall Munjal; Mr Rakesh Bharti Mittal of Bharti Enterprises; Mr Adesh Gupta of Liberty Shoes; Mr Alok Saxena of Tata Motors; Mr Maninder S. Grewal of Religare Technologies will cheer the ‘Men in Blue' as they help themselves “with good food and great company” at the Oberoi.

The dinner is being organised by industry body CII.

Apart from two plasma TVs and a big screen, arrangements are being made to create a sports ambience at the hotel to make up for not being able to watch the India-Pakistan match live at Mohali, CII said.

The hotel staff will be dressed in Team India uniform and there will be cricket nets, sports bar “with interesting drinks”, cricket caps for fans, it said.

Dinner tables will be decorated with Indian flags and old fashioned glasses.

The rival chamber FICCI doesn't want to be left behind.

It has invited diplomats from SAARC countries for dinner and will be watching the match on large screen television.

Several big companies have installed TV sets in their premises, while others have given a day's off to their staff.
