Real estate developer City Corporation has tied up with international crystal brand Swarovski for designing its 14-acre township in Pune.
The project, called Amanora Gateway Towers I, would be developed at a cost of Rs 10,000 crore.
Swarovski will design crystal applications and lighting products for the township’s fixtures and interiors, according to Mr David White, Global Vice-President, Marketing and Sales, Swarovski. “Though we have a presence in Indian homes and lighting retail stores, this is our first real estate project in India of this magnitude. We are exploring the possibility of taking up more such collaborations in India, but have not made any commitments yet,” he added.
Offering high-end apartments with private pools, Gateway Towers has apartments sized between 1,200 sq ft and 6,000 sq ft and are priced at Rs 10,000 a sq ft.
Aniruddha Deshpande, Managing Director, City Corporation Ltd, said, “The cost of construction of the project is about Rs 4,000 crore and the total sale value is Rs 10,000 crore. In all, we plan to build 15,000 apartments in the next five years in Amanora township of which we have completed 4,000 already. We would be announcing the next project in this township shortly.”
The company is also looking to enter the Mumbai real estate market in the next two to three years in Navi Mumbai.
