Consolidated Construction Consortium's net profit has jumped six times in the fourth quarter of 2011-12 compared with the corresponding quarter previously.
Final payments received on completion of some large public sector infrastructure projects have contributed to the growth in net profit, according to the Chairman, Mr R. Sarabeswar.
The projects include the Chennai Airport expansion and other airport projects in Mangalore and Thiruvananthapuram.
The company's net profit during the quarter ended March 31, 2012, was Rs 26.22 crore (Rs 4.5 crore) on an income of Rs 588.77 crore (Rs 642.95 crore).
Order flows, particularly from the industrial sector picked up during end of last year, he said.
Orders received during the year ending March 31, 2012, was Rs 3,114 crore taking the total orders on hand to Rs 5,916 crore.
