Vadodara-based power cables maker Diamond Power Infrastructure has posted 29 per cent higher net profit at ₹40 crore for the second quarter ended September 30 compared with the corresponding period last year.
Net sales increased to ₹896 crore during the quarter from ₹666 crore a year ago. For the half-year period, the company’s net profit was up by 18 per cent to ₹77 crore against ₹65 crore last year.
Net income increased to ₹1,700 crore for the half-year period compared with ₹1,242 crore in the year-earlier period.
