Divis Laboratories’ consolidated net profit rose 45.07 per cent to Rs 98.42 crore during the third quarter ended December 31, 2010.
The company had posted a net profit of Rs 67.84 crore during the same period previous fiscal, the company said in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange.
Net sales rose to Rs 309.69 crore during the quarter under review from Rs 196.31 crore in the same period last fiscal.
“The company’s project at Visakhapatnam, at an estimated cost of Rs 200 crore, is progressing well, as per schedule,” it said.
The company shares were trading at Rs 637.05 on the BSE in the late afternoon trade today, up 0.63 per cent from the previous close.
