Gayatri Projects Ltd (GPL), the Hyderabad-based infrastructure company, has secured a road project order worth Rs 544.75 crore from Mizoram Government.
The project entails execution of construction of two-laning and realignment of a stretch of road between 11.5 km to 130 km of National Highway 44A in the North-eastern state under Phase A of the Special Accelerated Road Development Programme for the North Eastern Region (SARDP-NE).
The project is to be completed in 36 months. Mr Sandeep Reddy, Managing Director, Gayatri Projects Ltd, in a statement said:
“With this order, we have strengthened our order book and significant portion comes from our core competency —construction sector.”
The company's order book is at around Rs 8,000 crore.
